Terms of service

Effective as of October 2, 2026.

1. Who provides the service

Violin Brain is a service of Génesis Antonetty, a violinist, who provides it as an individual from Venezuela. When these terms say "we", they mean her.

For any question, request or complaint, write to violinbrain.estudio@gmail.com.

2. What Violin Brain is

Violin Brain is a tool to organize and track your violin practice: repertoire, technique, methods, goals, a practice timer and coins. By using the platform or creating an account, you accept these terms and the privacy policy.

It supports your practice; it does not replace a teacher or guarantee any particular result. Take care of your body while practicing: if something hurts, stop and see a professional.

3. Minimum age

You must be at least 13 years old to use Violin Brain. If you are between 13 and 17, you need permission from a parent or guardian, and that person must authorize any payment.

If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 13, we delete it along with its data.

4. Your account

Use accurate information and one account per person. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for what is done with your account. If you think someone accessed it without your permission, let us know.

You can delete your account at any time from Mi cuenta (My account) → Eliminar cuenta (Delete account).

5. Plans and prices

Creating an account is free and needs no card. The free account includes 5 days of practice; after that, you need a membership to keep using the platform.

The memberships (Copper, Silver and Gold), what each includes and their prices in US dollars (USD) are published at violinbrain.com. Any discount we offer, such as the first-month discount or paying several months in advance, is shown next to the price.

If we change the price of your membership, we will tell you before it applies and you can cancel at no cost. The change does not affect a period you have already paid for.

6. Payments and renewal

  • Payment by PayPal or by message: you pay for each period (one, three, six or twelve months) and we activate your membership by hand. It does not renew on its own: to continue, you pay for the next period.
  • Card payment (when available): processed by Stripe, it renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.

We never see or store your card details: the payment processor handles them directly. Taxes that apply in your country may be added to the price.

7. Cancellation

You can cancel whenever you want, no reasons needed:

  • If your membership was activated by hand: in Mi cuenta, with the "Darme de baja" (Cancel my membership) button.
  • If you pay by card: in Mi cuenta → "Gestionar mi membresía" (Manage my membership).
  • In any case, also by writing to violinbrain.estudio@gmail.com.

Once you cancel, you will not be charged again and you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.

8. Refunds and right of withdrawal

You have 10 days from your first payment to change your mind: if you ask within that time, we refund everything you paid, by the same payment method.

After that, we do not refund the current period or the unused part of an advance payment, but you can cancel so it does not renew. This does not limit any rights you have under your country's consumer protection law.

9. Gold membership

The 1:1 lessons included in the Gold membership are scheduled directly with Génesis. The lessons included in a month are used within that month.

10. Your content

What you write or upload (notes, repertoire, goals, PDF scores) remains yours. We only use it to show it to you and to run the service. Upload only scores you have the right to use.

If you send us a testimonial, you agree that we may publish it with your name on the website after reviewing it. You can ask us to remove it at any time.

11. Intellectual property

The texts, technique guides, methodology, design and the Violin Brain brand belong to Génesis Antonetty. You may not copy, resell or redistribute them without permission.

The scores we offer in the Library are public-domain editions. Names of composers, works and methods are used only to identify them.

12. Acceptable use

Do not share your account, try to access other people's data or copy the content in bulk. If someone does, we may suspend or close their account, with notice first unless the situation is serious.

13. Availability and liability

We do our best to keep Violin Brain running, but there may be interruptions, errors or changes to features. The service is provided as is.

To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid in the last three months.

14. Changes to these terms

If we make an important change, we will tell you by email or inside the platform at least 15 days before it applies. If you do not agree, you can cancel and delete your account.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Venezuela, without prejudice to the rights you have under the consumer protection law of the country where you live. Before any formal claim, write to us: almost everything can be solved by talking.

If this English version and the Spanish one differ, the Spanish version prevails.
