Privacy policy

• Your account: name, email, time zone, level, plan and membership status, and the dates it was activated or you asked to cancel. Your password is stored encrypted by our accounts provider; we cannot see it.
• What you log: practice and timer sessions, repertoire, goals, notes, weekly schedule, course progress, coins and redemptions, and the PDF scores you upload to your Library.
• The quiz on the home page: your email, your name, your WhatsApp number if you give it, your country and your quiz result.
• The country you connect from: only the two-letter code (for example, VE), which we infer from your connection. We never store your IP address or your city. We save it to your account the first time you log in, and in the quiz only if you did not write your country. We do not store it for visits without an account.
• Your testimonial, if you send one: name, description, text, rating and email.
• Payments: processed by PayPal or Stripe. We never see or store your card. From Stripe we keep only the customer and subscription codes.
• Website use: an anonymous identifier stored in your browser to count how many visits move through the page, which campaign you came from, cookieless visit statistics, and technical error logs.

To provide the service: create and maintain your account, save and show your practice, activate and charge your membership, and send service emails (confirmation, welcome, notices about your free days or your membership).

Only if you choose to: message you on WhatsApp with resources for your level if you left your number, send you news if you left your email for that, and publish your testimonial.

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising or share it with anyone outside the providers below.

Only with the providers that run the service, and only what each one needs:

• Supabase: database, accounts and files.
• Vercel: website hosting and visit statistics.
• Resend: sending emails.
• Axiom: technical error logs.
• PayPal and Stripe: payments.
• WhatsApp: messages, only if you gave us your number.

Almost all of them are in the United States, so your data is stored and processed outside your country. We choose providers that protect data under recognized standards.

We use only what is needed: the session cookie, so you do not have to log in every time, and in your browser storage your preferences (light or dark theme, collapsed menu) and the anonymous statistics identifier. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking.

• Your account and your practice: as long as you have an account. If you delete it, your account and your personal data are deleted. Some practice records and your published testimonial may remain without any data that identifies you; if you want those deleted too, write to us.
• Quiz data, if you did not create an account: until you ask us to delete it.
• Technical error logs: a limited time, depending on the provider.
• Payment data: as long as accounting and tax laws require.

You can ask us to see your data, correct it, delete it, get a copy in a file, or object to us using it for anything other than providing the service. You can also withdraw a permission you gave us, such as messaging you on WhatsApp or publishing your testimonial. Write to violinbrain.estudio@gmail.com and we will answer within 10 business days at most.

To stop receiving emails that are not about the service, reply to any of them with the word STOP (or BAJA). If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the data protection authority in your country.

Violin Brain is not for children under 13. Between 13 and 17, permission from a parent or guardian is required. If we learn that we hold data from someone under 13, we delete it.

Data travels encrypted, and the database only lets each person see their own data. If an incident ever affects your data, we will let you know as soon as possible.

If we make an important change, we will tell you by email or inside the platform at least 15 days before. The date of the current version is shown at the top of this page. If this English version and the Spanish one differ, the Spanish version prevails.
